Last 30 Days Preparation Strategy for CA Foundation.

With the CA foundation exams looming ahead, it is natural for anxiety to set in amongst students. These exams are crucial as they lay the foundation for the entire CA course. In addition to revising the class 12 curriculum, students also need to learn new topics. As the exams draw closer, students may be wondering how to effectively prepare in order to clear the exams on their first attempt. In this blog, we will explore unique strategies to help you excel in the CA foundation exams during the last 30 days.

1. CA Foundation Dec 2023 Timetable

2. Last 30 Days Preparation Strategy for CA foundation exams :

As we know, not all students have the same study approach. We can broadly classify students into two categories. The first category includes students who prefer studying one subject at a time until completion. The second category consists of those who study two subjects simultaneously. While both approaches are right, we recommend our students the latter as they help to fight boredom and enhance concentration during long study sessions.

1. Divide and Conquer: With 30 days remaining, it is important to allocate time to each of the four subjects. Ideally, you can dedicate 7 days to a subject. During December, aim to dedicate 12 hours a day to studying.
2. Strategic Subject Selection: It is advisable to follow the exam timetable and prioritize studying the subjects that are scheduled later. By starting with the last subject, you can allocate more time for revision and concentrate fully on mastering its concepts. The first category of students, who prefer studying one subject at a time, can dedicate an entire week to each subject. On the other hand, the second category of students, who study two subjects simultaneously, can divide their daily 12-hour study schedule into 6 hours for each subject. For this category, it is recommended to study the two subjects continuously for 14 days straight.

3. Weekly To-Do Lists: Create a comprehensive to-do list for each week, highlighting the specific chapters you plan to cover, the MTPs and the RTPs you are going to cover. This will help you stay organized and track your progress effectively. Keeping track and crossing the things you have covered in the to-do - list boosts your confidence as well.

4. Enforcing these things into your schedule: Make sure you enforce summary notes first in your study schedule with the institute’s study material. After going through the summary notes, go through the important questions, RTPs and Mock Test Papers (MTPs) provided by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). Going through these resources will give you a better understanding of the exam format and will also help you identify important topics to focus on.

5. Staying healthy: In addition to studying, take care of your physical and mental well-being. Be sure to get enough sleep, eat nutritious meals, and exercise regularly. Taking breaks and engaging in activities you enjoy can also help reduce stress and improve focus.

To wrap up, As the CA foundation exams draws nearer, the pressure may intensify and anxiety might set in. However, it's important for students to remember that these struggles and challenges are all part of the journey towards passing the CA foundation with flying colors. The last 30 days hold immense potential. It is a time to exhibit dedication, resilience, and a growth mindset by staying organized, focused, and determined, you can wrap up your exams with pride, knowing that you have given it your all.

So, take a deep breath, believe in yourself, and embark on this final leg of your CA foundation journey. Success awaits you. Best of luck!
